The Localization team will rely on this platform to provide tailored, high-quality localization services in a timely and cost-efficient way to all of our current and future global products. In this role, you will work on implementation, coding, testing, deployment, ongoing expansion and maintenance of the framework, and support designing components and sub-systems. This will include assessing standards and technologies through experimentation/prototyping, for integration in the framework. A key focus for this role will be to design and develop areas for automation and tools to help with efficiency. 

The team works closely with StubHub's Localization Manager and with eBay's Localization Engineering team (whom we share some of the framework with) to establish and prioritize the product definition requirements. The development will happen in an agile and iterative mode, so scoping and planning will be an ongoing part of the job. Creating and maintaining relevant application design/implementation documentation, providing technical support and guidance to the end users within the localization team and partner teams will be part of the responsibilities as well. The Localization team is well-established but also in its early stages and not afraid to experiment. 

This would be a valuable opportunity for those that are comfortable with flexibility and with having a big influence over our technical ecosystem. Required Skills / Experience BS/MS in Computer Science or equivalent with 4+ years experience in front-end development 6+ years of relevant full lifecycle development experience, including on small teams Hands-on experience in designing and building web applications and REST web services, incorporating various technologies and frameworks Deep experience with at least one popular JavaScript framework (e.g. React, Backbone, AngularJS). Experience with data modeling, RMDBS/SQL (Oracle), object oriented methodologies, and user interface development (knowledge of Angular2+ and Bootstrap, NodeJS, or similar a definite advantage) Prior exposure to localization environment a definite advantage, desire to gain an in-depth understanding of the localization process a must Ability to problem solve well and learn new things quickly Self-starter, fast learner, able to assess and absorb new technologies quickly and successfully AFFIRMATIVE ACTION AND EQUAL OPPORTUNITY EMPLOYER StubHub is a Subsidiary of eBay.
