The challenge

 

Adobe is seeking a versatile and passionate web developer to help build out new services and applications as part of the Adobe Creative Cloud. These services will be an integral part of Adobe's comprehensive subscription, which includes desktop applications, Adobe Touch Apps, as well as a series of new connected community features. Come help us build and extend the next-generation services that allow people to access their creative content, profile, and tools from virtually any device, anywhere in the world.

 

Ideal Candidate

 

Designs workflows, develops and tests code, and sees that code through deployment

Self-motivated problem-solver, willing to take calculated risks

Works well both on his/her own and with small groups and teams

Understands when to change direction/technologies, as needed, to address the issues at hand

Gets excited about solving large problems for real-world scenarios

Values clarity, simplicity, and correctness in code

 

What you’ll do

  • Develop and refine the front-end framework used for an engaging web experience
  • Test and profile code written by yourself and others
  • Work closely with a distributed team to build out customer features, end-to-end
  • Partner with designers to design and optimize all interactions to provide a best-in-class experience
  • Engage with customers to understand customer problems, test ideas, and perfect workflows
  • Stay current with the latest test, development, and deployment best practices and share your findings with the team and community

What you need to succeed

  • Strong computer science fundamentals knowledge
  • 5+ years of experience with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
  • Proficiency developing world-class web front-end clients
  • Experience with various UI toolkits and interaction models including responsive design
  • Understanding of supporting APIs, cache layers
  • Demonstrated expertise with multiple JS frameworks (React, JQuery, Backbone, Angular, etc.)
  • BA/BS in computer science, or equivalent work experience
  • Excellent communication skills

  • Familiarity with compliance requirements - state, Federal, international
