Remote Job Description

Reporting to the VP, Financial Planning & Analysis, the Senior Financial Analyst position is part of a team responsible for the creation and delivery of accurate, high quality and impactful financial and operating information to team members, managers and the eMoney Senior Management Team. In addition, the Sr. Financial Analyst role will foster business partner relationships, create data models, deliver existing and build new financial analysis, and prepare and deliver executive level presentations. The Sr. Financial Analyst role requires well developed analytical skills and the ability to form strong relationships across the organization to support shared analysis, best practices and help guide eMoney Advisor to success.

Job Responsibilities

  • Drive value to eMoney business units through business partnering, analytics and strategic thinking
  • Drive improvements in key financial processes to optimize efficiency and quality of data
  • Provide business partner financial support for multiple functional areas within eMoney
  • Develop financial and statistical analyses including standard P&L as well as analytical profitability views (including but not limited to Client, Product, Segment and Lifetime value). Make recommendations and present views to support the financial success of eMoney Advisor.
  • Identify key expense drivers and present findings to business management
  • Make recommendations for department process improvements and implement solutions to effect more efficient collection, analysis, and reporting of information
  • Play a leadership role in defining budgeting processes and partner with team to develop and coordinate the multi-year/annual planning process as well as rolling forecasts
  • Develop and deliver presentations and recommendations to eMoney Senior Team to help guide effective and efficient decision making
  • Respond to multiple ad-hoc analyses and requests from Senior Management and eMoney colleagues

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance/Accounting or equivalent required
  • 8 plus years of experience in Finance, preferably within a medium-sized, high-growth company
  • Experience supporting a SaaS organization and/or Financial Services industry experience a plus

  • In-depth knowledge of financial analysis, accounting and reporting practices, tools, and procedures
  • Strong PC skills, especially Excel and PowerPoint
  • Experience building models in Adaptive Insights and Office Connect
  • Well-developed analytical, problem solving, and organizational skills are required
  • Comfort and experience working with very large, complex data sets is a must
  • Ability to make independent decisions, manage projects and present findings
  • Results-oriented individual who is conscientious of their quality of work and has ability to work across the organization
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to envision the “big picture” while managing the details and focusing on multiple objectives or assignments
  • Promotes teamwork and cooperation to resolve conflicts and ensure achievement of organizational objectives
  • Responds to shifting priorities while maintaining progress of regularly scheduled work
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, agile environment
