Product Manager - Pharmacy Automation
Location: Broomfield, CO

The Product Manager, Pharmacy Automation will manage the product portfolio in the Pharmacy Automation segment. He/She is responsible for development of new products according to market requirements, delivered on-time and with the highest quality. Furthermore, this person will be in charge of continuous product improvement and product-life-cycle management.

This role works closely with the Solution Management teams (defining market requirements), R&D, OEM suppliers, and Swisslog’s Technology Centers, which are responsible for manufacturing and sustaining engineering. Strong communication skills, broad technical expertise, as well as business acumen are required to be successful in this position.


Your Responsibilities

  • Initiation of product and portfolio development roadmaps
  • Define technical specifications for new developments, based on requirements from Solution Management
  • Tracking & Management of development projects
  • Training and education of regional sales force and product specialists
  • Close collaboration with worldwide Solution Managers, Technology Centers’ technical teams, as well as Sales and Marketing
  • Management of OEM Partners, especially for product and consumables development
  • Cost analysis and pricing of products and consumables, including life-cycle costs
  • Production of product documentation – Sales, Technical, Project, Cost-Pricing
  • Competition and market analysis
  • Oversee product and development road-maps; defining requirements and prioritizations

Your Profile

Required Competencies:

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor of Science degree preferably in a technical field (will consider other degrees depending on relevant experience)
  • 10+ years of experience in product management or product development related responsibilities
  • High energy, self-starting individual who has proven market success and will thrive in a team environment

Desirable but not Essential:

  • Experience in the healthcare industry
  • Sales and Marketing experience
  • Knowledge of Pharmacy Automation Products
  • Experience in the healthcare industry
  • MBA or other advanced business degree
