The Junior Project Manager role is responsible for process and system enhancements related to customer care operations supporting EVgo. The JPM will drive alignment to business requirements across impacted functional areas and document requested changes. JPM will manage delivery and budget of the enhancements. JPM will also support development of recurring and ad hoc reporting to assist operations and marketing in management decision making. JPM will work closely with the call center, cross functional teams, IT developers, and various market and functional leads within the EVgo organization.

Position Description

We are seeking an Jr. IT Project Manager ready to make an immediate impact with a fast growing, dynamic organization in Los Angeles CA. The ideal candidate has 3-5+ years of experience managing IT projects. Project management responsibilities include delivering every project on time, within budget and within scope.


  • Responsibilities of this position include but are not limited to the following: Coordinate internal resources and third parties/vendors for the flawless execution of projects
  • Create requirements documents and project charters to ensure all stakeholders are on the same page
  • Hold requirements meetings and seek out the appropriate entities to complete project requirements
  • Ensure that all projects are delivered on-time, within scope and within budget
  • Be a part of the PM team and be able to prioritize multiple tasks given at a moment’s notice
  • Assist in the definition of project scope and objectives, involving all relevant stakeholders and ensuring technical feasibility
  • Ensure resource availability and allocation
  • Develop a detailed project plan to monitor and track progress
  • Manage changes to the project scope, project schedule, and project costs using appropriate verification techniques
  • Measure project performance using appropriate tools and techniques
  • Report and escalate to management as needed
  • Successfully manage the relationship with the client and all stakeholders
  • Perform risk management to minimize project risks
  • Establish and maintain relationships with third parties/vendors
  • Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation.

Required Skills/Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science or engineering
  • Minimum 3 years’ Project Management Experience
•   Proven working experience in project management in the information technology sector

•   Solid technical background with understanding and/or hands-on experience in software development and web technologies

•   Training and Certifications:

•   PMP certification is a plus

Special Skills and/or Abilities:

•         Excellent client-facing and internal communication skills

•         Excellent written and verbal communication skills

•         Able to take direction well and follow through on all requests

•         Solid organizational skills including attention to detail and multi-tasking skills

•         Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office
