Description

Blue Shield of California is looking for a Digital Product Manager to help us transform the member web experience. This role will report to the Senior Product Manager and manage at least one Product Owner. In this role you will work as part of a cross-functional team of designers, developers and marketers. Together you will design, build and roll-out products that help Blue Shield deliver on its mission of ensuring that all Californians have access to high-quality health care at an affordable price.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Define and drive a member-facing product strategy for the web
  • Develop a deep understanding of our digital customer experience, while identifying and filling existing digital product gaps
  • Assess quantitative and qualitative data that can be translated into product deliverables (Data-Driven) with measureable KPIs
  • Prioritize improvements and activities based on business and customer impact
  • Advocate internally and externally to build awareness and understanding of Blue Shield’s digital products
  • Manage and mentor Product Owners 

Qualifications Your Experience:

  • 5+ years of product experience 
  • Proven track record of delivering consumer-facing digital experiences
  • Ability to work with scrum/agile teams and manage story backlogs in JIRA or similar products
  • Strong written and verbal communications
  • Willingness to work collaboratively with a diverse set of stakeholders in a matrixed organization
  • Digital or Tech experience; prior Health Care experience a plus
  • Bachelor’s Degree; Masters a plus
