About us:
Narrative is innovating the monetization and acquisition of data. Data acquisition historically has been opaque and cumbersome to both acquire and normalize in a way that is usable for all use cases/needs a company might have for the data; at Narrative, we’re making the most useful, most specific, deduplicated data relevant to buyers available in the preferred data format.

About the marketing team:
The marketing team’s goal is to establish Narrative as the best platform available for distributing and acquiring data that empowers businesses to better run their businesses and data strategies. The marketing team helps to create the Narrative voice and style, using strong visuals and the written word to build brand love and trust amongst our community.

Your role:
You will contribute ideas for making our content better. You’ll also help us manage and optimize the content in our CMS. It’s part journalism, part copywriting, and part creative writing. No two assignments will ever be the same, and your work will help define Narrative as a thought leader in the world of big data.

- Writing! Including (but not limited to) emails, blog posts, landing pages, CTA copy, and much more
- Assist with content production, including loading posts into the CMS and scheduling content campaigns
- Participate in creating brainstorming sessions for creative content campaigns
- Support internal and external Narrative launches - writing about recent design trends and finding fun new ways that data affects our wider culture
- Interview customers and members of the data community and tell their story in a compelling way

- 2-4 years experience writing for an online publication - preferably in tech or data related fields
- Familiarity with content management systems
- Experience with data or similar industries
- Superior journalistic and storytelling skills with an ability to craft compelling narratives
- Superior writing skills
- A love of creative collaboration—whether that’s workshopping a must-click headline, or receiving edits on your latest email funnel
- An understanding of the importance of voice and a strong ability to turn business jargon into copy that's actually fun to read
- An ability to turn in error-free copy under tight deadlines
